On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, Mother Carson went home to glory peacefully surrounded by her four children : Ray, Patty ,Willie, and Marice at the Taylor County Health Care, Butler, Georgia.
Anna was born on April 9, 1934 to the late Will and the late Ethel Jefferson. As a young girl she always enjoyed reading, fellowshipping with friends and attending church on Sunday mornings.
After graduating high school in early Spring of 1953, she enrolled in the Apex Beauty College in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1955, she was granted her license by the State of Georgia to practice cosmetology.
In the Fall of 1957, Mother Carson joined in marriage with the late James Carson in Clearwater, Florida.
She leaves to forever cherish her percious memories four children; Ray(Otis) Daniel, Fort Valley, Georgia, State Representative Patty(Darryl) Bentley, Butler, Georiga, Marice(Kimberly) Carson, and Willie Carson both of Conyers, Georgia.
Sixteen grandchildren, two of whom she reared as her own, RaShaun Bailey, Atlanta, Georgia, and Rodney Carson, Butler, Georgia.
One Sister, Evelyn (Rev. Joe) Hairston, Reynolds, Georgia, one brother, Terry(Tina) Jefferson, Miami, Florida.
Three sister in-laws, Mildred Walker, Reynolds, Georgia, Fannie Ogburn, Butler, Georgia, and Gloria Jefferson, Brooklyn, New York and host of other relatives.
