Billy Floyd Montgomery, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2020. He was born in Reynolds, Georgia September 21st, 1935 and educated in the Taylor County school system.  He earned a living as a construction worker but also was exceptionally good in carpentry. He was a dedicated, son, brother, father and friend.  He loved helping others whenever he had the chance. Early in his adult life he dedicated his life to God. On Sundays enjoyed listening to gospel, music whether it was in church or at home.

His favorite meal was sweet potatoes, neckbone, and greens.  On occasion he would cook two of his favorite desserts, southern sweet bread and chocolate cake. No matter what time of the day it was you could always find him watch old cowboy westerns on tv. In his spare time, he kept himself busy by completing word search puzzles and he developed a love and passion for drawing and painting.

Genesis 2:7

Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
