To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

Clinton Antonio Forbes was born on April 7, 1951 to the parentage of Clinton Forbes and Florence Mae Forbes.

“Thang” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends.  Clinton served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era.  He received an honorable discharge as Private E1.  Years later, Clinton joined in holy matrimony to Betty Thomas on November 24, 1991.  Clinton will be fondly remembered for being the number one checkers player and great hairstylist around Taylor and Talbot Counties.

Family members that preceded him in death are brother, Harris Leander Forbes and sister, Mary Florence Forbes.

On Sunday, May 3, 2020, God in his infinite wisdom, decided the time had come for our beloved husband and father to rest from his labor. His time on earth will be forever cherished by all his family and many friends.

Clinton leaves his precious memories  his wife, Betty Thomas-Forbes, a few of his thirty children are as follows:  Clinton Forbes, Kendra Forbes-Lindley, LaQuisha Forbes, Alexis Weaver, Saleen Smith, Emmanuel Forbes, Darryl Little, Ennis Thomas, Marlin Samuel, Chrissy Hammond(Vocei) Carling Colbert, and Alicia Colbert; four sisters, Vanessa Forbes, Elizabeth Wilder, Beverly Forbes and Patricia (Edward) James; special friends: Sylvester Terrell, Greg-Greg, Antoine Johnson, and Jerry “Tony” McCory.
