Mr. Willie Earl Montfort was born May 25, 1944 to the late John Wesley Montfort Sr. and Lue Vonceil Riley Montfort. He attended public school in Butler, Georgia. At an early age, he joined the Antioch Baptist Church. As a young man, Willie moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Marie Gray on November 12, 1970. Willie had a special care for his nieces and nephews, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bernice Montfort and Eldora Montfort; three brothers, Mr. Harden Montfort, Mr. Riley Montfort, and Mr. Alvin Montfort. God called Willie from labor to reward on Monday, July 1, 2019.
Those who cherish his memories include his wife, Mrs. Marie Montfort, Altanta, Georiga; three sons, Mr. Byron Montfort, Thomaston, Georgia, Michael(Angela) Gray, Newnan, Georgia, and Rodney (Angela) Montfort, Sandy Springs, Georgia; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Ross, Culloden, Georgia and Prophetess Voncie Lue Montfort, Butler, Georgia; one brother, Mr. John Wesley Montfort, Butler, Georgia; a devoted niece, Mary Frances Campbell, Detroit, MI; a devoted nephew, Lex Key Gray, Atlanta, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Tyler Montfort, Dominique Gray, Michael Gray, Jr., Rodriquez Montfort, Montavious Montfort, Raisley Montfort, John Montfort, and Lillian Montfort; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
