Army Veteran Woodrow Clay

Woodrow Clay was born  March 20, 1956, passed away on 8/12, 2017, at The Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, GA, holding the hand  his greatest love, Peggy.  Woodrow  was born on March 20,  1956, to the late Odell and Willie T. Clay, in Macon GA.  Woodrow was educated in Bibb county public school system, graduating from South West High School in 1974.  Following his high school graduation, Woodrow proudly served active duty with The United States Army, and The United States Army Reserve for the next 4 years. 

During the last 15 years Woodrow worked in Social Service jobs, including case mangers for ARC, River Edge, and Star Choices.

Woodrow leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Peggy Clay.  Clay and Peggy are/were most dedicated to each other.  Their love for each other was and is undeniable.

Woodrow also leaves to mourn:  his beautiful daughter, Jordan Odell Clay, Macon GA, two loving and supportive  sons  Woodrow Clay Jr, (Kim)Columbus, GA, Charles Ira Clay, (Latisha), Warner Robins ,GA.  loving brother, James Clay.  Three sisters, Sherlene Ware, (Artie), Clara Clay, Katie Curry, (Rev. Jim Curry).  10 grandchildren, two great grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
